You know you’re in Amish Country when you’ve had a fry pie. So popular with Amish folks in our area, fry pies are like mini pies you can eat with your hand, no fork needed. Made right here in our own bakery with a delicious fruit filling and homemade dough, they are fried then sealed with a sweet vanilla-flavored glaze.
Note: All products are produced in a facility and on equipment that also processes Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soybeans, Fish and Shellfish.
Dough: Flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, potassium bromated, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Shortening (vegetable oil blend (partially hydrogenated soybean and palm oil), water, contains less than 2% of salt, mono, and diglycerides, nonfat dry milk, soy lecithin, sodium benzoate (as preservative), artificial flavor, artificial color (beta carotene), vitamin A, palmitate), Sugar, Salt, Baking Powder. CONTAINS: Wheat, Soy, Milk.
Glaze: Powdered Sugar (sugar, cornstarch), Water.
Bavarian Filling: Water, high fructose corn syrup, modified food starch, contains less than 2% of: benzoic acid, cellulose gel, cellulose gum, color added (yellow 5, yellow 6), natural and artificial flavor, palm oil, polysorbate 60, potassium sorbate (preservative), salt.
